so the recipe says panko breadcrumbs, but in the video they look like regular seasoned breadcrumbs. which are they?

Sorry for the late reply, Craig—I somehow missed your message! It was russet potatoes that I used. Here's the quantity:

1 kg (2 lb) of russet potatoes

1 tbsp salt (for the boiling water)

For mashing: 3 tbsp butter and 1/2 cup warm milk
