That’s wonderful, Gary! Salisbury steak has such a comforting, classic flavor, hope it brings back some great memories for you. Let me know how it turns out when you try it 😊
Unhealthy and packed with abuse, environmental degradation and supporting the climate crisis. Your grandmother might not have known better, but now we do. Of course a plant based version would be great. In peace.
so the recipe says panko breadcrumbs, but in the video they look like regular seasoned breadcrumbs. which are they?
НАЙКРАЩИЙ стейк Солсбері, який я коли-небудь бачив! Тут, на моєму улюбленому кулінарному каналі на Youtube!! 😍🤩🙌💛
What a great story and fabulous tradition to pass along to your boys.
Yum. I will try this soon. Have not had Salisbury steak since I left for college about 50 years ago. Loved it as a kid.

Thank you, Anna! So happy you like it! 😊❤️
Beautifully done, Little Sister!!!
Thank you so much, Mark! Your kind words always mean a lot. 😊👩🍳
Would those be yellow potatoes? And what quantity did you boil? Thank you!
Sorry for the late reply, Craig—I somehow missed your message! It was russet potatoes that I used. Here's the quantity:
1 kg (2 lb) of russet potatoes
1 tbsp salt (for the boiling water)
For mashing: 3 tbsp butter and 1/2 cup warm milk
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. 😊
